Bjørn is still here
He is homeless and has taken drugs in quantities that would kill most people. In fact, 28-year-old Bjørn Greve Hansen is surprised that he’s still here.
He is one of the 1,586 young homeless people under 30 in Denmark, and, as he says himself, a drug addict.
The first time Bjørn smoked heroin, he was 11 years old: It was at a residential institution in Southern Jutland, where he was living at the time, he says. Before that, he had experimented with other drugs, after taking his first puff of a joint at the age of nine.
